Pricing approach
Hourly rates are quoted for each site based on the scope of duties, the hours of coverage, and the length of the contract. Longer-term agreements are priced competitively, and we are glad to provide a written, itemized quote tailored to your property on request.
Supplemental rates
Routine account supervision is included in the base rate; the field supervisor rate applies only to additional supervisory attendance requested by the client. All rates exclude HST (13%).
| Service | Rate |
|---|---|
| Field supervisor (requested additional attendance) | $45.00 / hour |
| After-hours / emergency call-out (outside scheduled hours) | $48.00 / hour (4-hour minimum) |
| Statutory holiday coverage (if requested) | 1.5× base rate (time-and-a-half) |
| Additional / replacement guard (if requested) | Base hourly rate |
| Short-notice coverage (less than 24 hours’ notice) | $38.00 / hour |
What the rate includes
- Licensed security personnel (PSISA)
- WSIB coverage & clearance
- Commercial General Liability insurance
- Uniforms and standard equipment
- Management supervision & account oversight
- Scheduling and administration
- Relief coverage for absences & vacation
- Incident reporting and documentation
- Mobile phone for site communication
- Guard training and onboarding
Minimum wage adjustment clause
For multi-year agreements, the hourly rate is held firm for the first year. In subsequent years, the rate is adjusted only by the amount necessary to pass through legislated increases to the Ontario general minimum wage and the associated mandatory employer costs (CPP, EI, EHT, WSIB, and vacation pay). We provide written notice and a transparent calculation no less than 30 days before any adjustment takes effect.
